Description: Parenting News provides a "one-stop" source of current parenting education news, access to four popular newsletters for parents and grandparents, and links to other web-based resources from University of Illinois Extension. The site is organized around three age groups (birth-5, 6-12 years, and teens), with a special section for grandparents raising grandchildren. Users can register to customize the site for their own use, and to be notified via email when new issues of newsletters are available for viewing. The system also provides for scheduled electronic delivery of "Parenting the 1st-3rd Years." Each month, a newsletter corresponding to the age of the child is delivered with information on stages of development, tips for parents, and suggestions for coping with the stress.
