Event Summary

Topic: Effective Technology Use in Youth Programming. Workshop focus on the research supporting, and the process you would use to incorporate technology effectively into your child and youth programs, with extensive examples from Aerospace (rockets) and Communication (digital photography).
Audience: National, state and county Extension Educators and staff working with youth (age 5 - 18) audiences.
What: Centra is a synchronous web delivery tool for conducting virtual or "live" events through the Internet using visuals and two-way audio. To maximize the full potential of a live event, a PC (not compatible with MACs), Internet connection, web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, etc.) and a microphone/headset combo or speakers and a microphone are required.
