....then this interactive training session is for you!

CYFERnet is pleased to present an opportunity for you to learn more about University of Florida's IFAS Leadership Development Curriculum. This curriculum is an excellent learning tool on both the nuts and bolts of leadership as well as the development of leaders in the community.

Topics Include:

This workshop will be a presentation and then question and answer time with the author of the curriculum, Dr. Elizabeth Bolton. Dr. Bolton is a professor and extension specialist of community development in the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida. Her areas of interest and experience include leadership development, entrepreneurship education, workforce preparation, volunteer development and nonprofit organizations. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the department and is currently working with others to develop an interdisciplinary undergraduate minor in nonprofit organizations.

.All you need is a telephone plus a computer with web access. This training is one of a series of live interactive training sessions that use the web and telephone conference calls that are being sponsored by CYFERnet. These conference calls center around topics identified through the CYFERnet Needs Assessment survey.

Tuesday, April 9th - 1:00 p.m. EDT - Participate in call. Please note that this is Eastern Daylight Time and that you will need to adjust your call-in time based on the area of the country in which you live. On the day of the call you will need to be at a computer that has access to the web sites, or have printed a copy of the curriculum (includes 11 sections).

After April 9 - Begin to program with some of the new information you learned about on the conference call.
