CYFERnet is pleased to present an opportunity for you to learn more about "Teaching Basic Health and Safety in the Early Childhood Classroom" specifically designed for young children. This CYFERnet training will introduce participants to the curriculum and explore ideas for implementation.

Teaching children safe, healthy habits during early childhood can reduce the risk of unintentional injury, promote good health, and prepare them for emergencies and routine doctor visits. This workshop will provide an overview of a developmentally appropriate health and safety curriculum for 3- to 5-year-olds that incorporates age-appropriate activities in all areas of the early childhood curriculum.
