Presenters

Sandra Cornett, Ph.D., R.N. is the Director of The Ohio State University AHEC / Health Literacy Program. Until her retirement as Manager of Consumer Health Education at OSU Medical Center in 2001, she edited over 3,000 handouts for patients that were easy-to read and below 8th grade reading level. She is one of the founders of the Center for Health Information at OSU Medical Center. Dr. Cornett consults with numerous organizations on patient education management systems and health literacy. She is a charter member of the HealthCare Education Association, a national network of health educators.
