Unexpected emergencies can and do happen. The best time to plan for the unexpected is before it happens. The key is to be prepared. The purpose of the Emergency Preparedness in Child Care Centers curriculum is to help center directors plan how to handle emergencies and how to prepare adults and children so they know what to do in case an emergency arises.

Participate in this national training opportunity to learn more about an exciting new curriculum developed by Penn State University designed to help child care centers develop emergency plans for their facilities.

The National Extension Family Life Specialist Early Childhood team would like to invite you to learn more about Emergency Preparedness. If you are interested in learning more about how you can implement this program within your state or local community, join us on September 7th.
