Description: The Research Subcommittee of Michigan State University Extension, Family Resource Management-Area of Expertise compiled an online Family Economic and Consumerism Toolkit for Extension Educator. The toolkit is based upon the stages of change theory and utilize components from On the Path MSUE curriculum, Money 2000-Rutgers and Cornell curriculum, Budgeting Basic-Kansas State University curriculum, to meet the financial educational needs of consumers. The toolkit facilitates ease in conducting one time or a series of educational workshops with consumers. The toolkit includes an evaluation which is also based upon the stages of change theory and developed by Extension Specialist nationally.
