consulting on Internet connectivity for CYFAR's community-based programs
conducting periodic information and communication technology needs assessment of the CYFERnet service
informing the public and land-grant university faculty and staff about resources available through CYFERnet through exhibits, demonstrations and newsletters
encouraging adoption of the "network model" of human and electronic resources sharing across state and discipline lines
developing relationships with other organizations serving children, youth, families and communities
providing training and consultation to CYFAR participants on the use of CYFERnet and related electronic resources for children, youth family, and community
working with technology contacts in each CYFAR community program site and state land-grant university to encourage collaboration with program units in their states
promoting Internet connectivity at community and university levels
developing on-line activities for children and youth
involving youth in integrating technology into 4-H by working closely with the National 4-H Youth Technology Leadership Team
developing and promoting a Technology blog to inform CYFAR community participants of relevant research, resources and innovations
